Websites for NATP Chapters

The chapter website program is no longer accepting new chapters. We will update this page if that changes in the future.

The chapter website program started as a result of happy tax professional clients asking if we could build a website for their chapter, too. While our focus is and always will be individual tax professionals themselves, we launched a pilot program to offer free websites to chapters with the understanding that our system is designed to make having a professional and effective tax website as easy as possible and that 1) it was not designed for chapters 2) due to the cost of providing our services, chapters would be expected to make their own updates (board members changing, uploading new PDFs, etc.).

For existing chapters, please remember from our original FAQ bullet titled “What is and isn’t included?“:

however; we will not be able to offer our full concierge services where we add any content and files sent to us by the client. This is simply cost prohibitive for this free service. We do however offer a comprehensive selection of video tutorials that make updating your chapter’s website as simple as using Microsoft® Word. If you get stuck, we will of course do our best to assist you, but we really must insist that these free chapter websites be managed internally and we thank you for your cooperation.

While we have made exceptions in the past and made changes for some chapters, chapters have consistently required far more resources than our paying clients and we must refer back to these original terms. We will continue to host and secure existing chapter websites at no cost.

We offer a very flexible and easy to use system to update text and files and even adjust your design if you choose. Our system is built on WordPress which is estimated to power between 25%-30% of all websites. Many clients and chapters alike have said that updating their website is as easy as using Microsoft Word.
